Our First Client

Wow. We got our first client already. We are packing the gear and calibrating the instruments. First light tomorrow we head out to Valentine, Nebraska. Apparently there is a little Poltergeist trouble happening in one of the deserted houses near downtown. Finally a chance for us to shine.

Poltergeist activity tends to occur around a single person called an agent or a focus. Foci are often, but not limited to, pubescent children.

There are a lot of different theories on poltergeists, some say they originate after a person dies in a powerful rage at the time of death. Another opinion suggests that ghosts and poltergeists are “recordings.” When there is a powerful emotion, sometimes at death and sometimes not, a recording is believed to be “embedded” in a place or, somehow, in the “fabric of time” itself. This recording will continue to play over and over again until the energy embedded disperses.

In my experience and opinion there a few poltergeists who have had the ability to articulate themselves and to have distinct personalities, which suggests some sort of self-awareness and intent. At the SNSA, our Astral Projection Practitioners have reported the existence of unfriendly astral life forms, some are dispossed lesser Demons, like the one that took over Lamar Odom from the Los Angeles Lakers in the first half of Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Some are unidentifiable but most of them are meaner than a marine on a bender.

I am a little concerned about the assignement and the nature of it due to how close the Rosebud Indian reservation is. The border is only ten miles away. We have noticed there are a lot of spirits at unrest around most of our nations Native-American gulags… I mean reservations.

So, wish us luck and I will have another blog on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
